7 New Ways to Make Money Online

New Ways to Make Money Online

Do you want to earn money online and want to join the ranks of web workers? But you have a mortgage. You can make money in the new ways, although it might not be as easy as keeping your old economy job.

I’m not talking about advertising or affiliate marketing or selling your Product on eBay. Those are so old ways! I’m talking about the new economy.

1. Offer your professional expertise in an online marketplace. These days, you can do more than just sell your old books via Amazon and your old Coach handbags via eBay—now you can sell your professional capabilities in a marketplace. No longer are you limited to looking for a permanent or contract job on Web 1.0 style job sites like Monster or CareerBuilder. The new breed of freelancing and project-oriented sites let companies needing help describe their projects. Then freelancers and small businesses offer bids or ideas or proposals from which those buyers can choose.
Elance covers everything from programming and writing to consulting and design, while RentACoder focuses on software, natch. If you’re a graphic designer, check out options like Design Outpost or LogoWorks–you don’t have to find the customers, they’ll come to you. Wannabe industry analysts might sign up for TechDirt’s Insight Community, a marketplace for ideas about technology marketing.

2. Sell photos on stock photography sites. If people regularly oooo and aaaaah over your Flickr pics, maybe you’re destined for photographic greatness or maybe just for a few extra dollars. It’s easier than ever to get your photos out in front of the public, which of course means a tremendous amount of competition, but also means it might be an convenient way for you to build up a secondary income stream. Where can you upload and market your photos? Try Fotolia, Dreamstime, Shutterstock, and Big Stock Photo.

3. start your own blog network. If you like the business side of things–selling advertising, hiring and managing employees, attracting investors–and have the stomach to go up against the likes of Weblogs, Inc., GigaOmniMedia, b5media, maybe you should make an entire business out of blogs. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you’ll get a lot of time to write yourself though.

4. Provide service and support for open source software. Just because the software is free doesn’t mean you can’t make money on it–just ask Red Hat, a well-known distributor of Linux that sports a market cap of more than four billion dollars. As a solo web worker, you might not want to jump in and compete with big companies offering Linux support, but how about offering support for web content management systems like WordPress or Drupal? After getting comfortable with your own installation, you can pretty easily jump into helping other people set them up and configure them.

5. Online life coaching. Who has time to go meet a personal coach at an office? And don’t the new generation of web workers need to be met by their coaches in the same way that they work: via email, IM, and VoIP? You could, of course, go through some life coaching certification program, but on the web, reputation is more important than credentials. I bet Tony Robbins isn’t certified as a life coach–and no one can argue with his success. For an example of someone building up their profile and business online as a coach, check out Pamela Slim of Ganas Consulting and the Escape from Cubicle Nation blog.

6. Virtually assist other web workers. Freelancers and small businesses desperately need help running their businesses, but they’re not about to hire a secretary to come sit in the family room and answer phone calls. As a virtual assistant, you might do anything from making travel reservations to handling expense reimbursements to paying bills to arranging for a dog sitter. And you do it all from your own home office, interacting with your clients online and by phone. You can make $20 and up an hour doing this sort of work, depending on your expertise.

7. Become a virtual gold farmer. A half million Chinese now earn income by acquiring and selling World of Warcraft gold to gamers in other countries. If you’re not a young person living in China, this probably isn’t a viable option for you. But what’s intriguing about it is the opportunity to make real money working in a virtual economy. People are making real-world money in Second Life too.

Best Advertising sites for asians

Top ten alternative of adsense

Google AdSense is the current leader in web-based marketing. Website Publisher can place Google AdSense JavaScript code on their web pages in order to allow Google's servers to show contextual advertisements (Google Adwords). The left hand side of this page shows an example of a Google AdSense skyscraper displaying a text or image ad.

Google's terms and conditions are very strict such that many web publishers cannot use adsense advertise on their sites. They are either denied from joining the Google AdSense program, or in a situation that is becoming more and more common do not wish to do business with Google.

A number of publishers are also finding their Adsense accounts are being disabled for reasons that are completely beyond their control. The problem is that most of the alternatives to Google's Adsense are pretty useless. For this reason I have compiled my Top 10 alternatives to Google's Adsense that are ideal for the small time publisher. You Can try all these programs.

01.Adbrite

AdBrite is currently one of the best alternatives of Google's adsense. They have more relaxed terms and conditions than Adsense and are much more accepting of smaller publishers including bloggers. If you're a publisher, use AdBrite to set your own ad rates, and approve or reject every ad that's purchased for your site or just have AdBrite auto accept ever ad. AdBrite enables you to instantly sell ads to your visitors via a "Your Ad Here" link, in addition to selling through AdBrite's marketplace and sales team.AdBrite also accepts Blogs and Bloggers as sites so if you are fed up with other programs turning you down because their terms and conditions restrict Blogs try AdBrite.

Add Format:

While they do not offer the same large selection of ad formats that Clicksor and Google Adsense provide you they do offer the most commonly used ones. In addition they offer inline page links with have some great click through ratios as well as interstitial full page ads which offer an excellent way to monetize all traffic to your site not just traffic that clicks on your ads.

Payment:

Their payouts are also very competitive. Payments Via Paypal() and Cheack()

02.BidVertiser

Bidvertiser can be a useful alternative to Google Adsense . While a useful feature I have not investigated how well it works but imagine that while it sounds good on paper it could result in lower priced ads being displayed. I.e. most advertisers will probably want to keep control of the layout of their ads and so turn off support for Free design ads.

Add Formats:

Bidvertiser offer some intriguing ad formats including what they refer to as free design. This lets you specify the look and dimensions of your text ads.

Payments:

Bidvertizer pays you either in $25.00 increments by check or $10.00 increments by PayPal.

Why You Join:

03.RevenuePilot.com

RevenuePilot.com can be a useful alternative to Google Adsense . RevenuePilot provides you with the most innovative, efficient and effective way to monetize your traffic.

Add formats:

A variety of linking methods is available, including text links, banners, search boxes, javascript feed, dynamic banners, etc.

Payments:

RevenuePilot offers its affiliates seamless entrance into this highly profitable arena through its Premiere Pay Per Click Network. You receive 60% of what advertisers pay RevenuePilot per click.

Why You Join:
  • Industry's Largest Payouts

Join our contextual advertising affiliate program today!click here for sing up

05.Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN)

Yahoo are currently playing catch up to Google and are trying to release their own context sensitive advertising service. This promises to be an excellent alternative to Google Adsense but in reality is likely to be a simple copy with the same restrictive terms and conditions as Google, including $100 minimums on payouts. The system seems to have been in beta test for several years now, perhaps explaining why Yahoo as a company is suffering. Unfortunately while you can visit their site and sign up to register for an account don't expect to actually hear back from them. They are either extremely selective or are simply not accepting new publishers and advertisers, either way they won't even bother to get back to you to let you know this and most applicants won't even receive a reply saying their application has been rejected. Thus until it goes live and it becomes clear what type of website owners Yahoo will be targeting I cannot place it any higher in this list.Advert wise Yahoo Publisher Network will feature:Display ads related to the content on your site. You'll earn revenue from qualified clicks.Integrate other Yahoo! services into your web site, including Add to My Yahoo! (RSS), Y!Q and much more to come...This beta program is just the beginning. Our mission is to deliver products and services based on the needs of the publishing community.

6) AdToll

AdToll pays on a CPC basis. Their user interface is great and navigating through the user panel is both easy and pleasant. Payments are available via Cheque, Paypal, ePassporte and Wire/Bank Transfer. It is also possible to use the revenue you earn as a publisher to advertise your website further. Such integration is something that is entirely missing from Google's adsense-adwords.

7) TargetPoint

Targetpoint's services are particularly publisher-oriented, you have absolute control over the appearance of your ads. They provide supervision over ad content. The payouts tend to be reasonable but they can be quite choosey regarding which sites are accepted.

9) FastClick(Now known as ValueClick)

At first look FastClick would appear to be one of the better alternatives to Google's Adsense however, they are one of many online advertising companies that tend to favor the large customers. You'd think companies would have learnt from Google's success and accepted that the way to make money is to target both large and small. Remember Excite? They went the way of the dodo because they only targeted the top 100 companies rather than the small guys who can't afford large TV adverts and have to advertise on the Internet instead. Anyway, I digress. If you can get yourself accepted to FastClick (now called ValueClick) then you will probably be able to run some reasonably high paying adverts on your site but most small website owners will find that FastClick simply aren't interested.Advertising wise FastClick (ValueClick) offer an industry-average 65-percent monthly payout on all advertising revenue your website generates. Fastclick pays by the 25th of the month for the previous month by check or PayPal.

10) ClickThruTraffic

Not the best alternative but if you can't get accepted by any of the above you can always try these guys. They claim that you will earn between 6 and 20 cents everytime a surfer clicks on an advertisement on your site but in reality I think you are more likely to see rates around the 0.5c to 2c range. However, feel free to try it out and see how you get on. Advert wise they offer text links, buttons and banners.

Section 1 – Online Stores

When it comes to creating an online store, there are many different routes you can take. I have had the most success with Zlio, Cafe Press and Yahoo! Merchant Solutions. Section 2 – Selling on eBay

eBay is one of the most popular sites on the internet and personally one of my primary money makers. Millions of people visit everyday searching for items they can’t find elsewhere. eBay is a resellers paradise, when you visit eBay you may notice that almost all the items are sold at discount prices, half as much as the retail counterpart. I know I’ve asked “how do they even make a profit?”
Well, the answer is wholesale. Most resellers on eBay purchase their goods through wholesale, liquidation, and drop-shipping websites tucked into the corners of the internet. If you look close enough you can find sites out there that offer thousands of products and low prices. I have found an easier way!

E-Books are growing in popularity every day, thousands of companies are now printing their media digitally to reach a wider audience over the internet. This new market is full of thousands of opportunities and the great thing about it, you can make tons of money if you have an idea and you’re motivated. I’ve written over 20

Affiliate marketing is one of the most profitable ways to make money on the internet. This method is a little bit more complicated than the others but it’s worth understanding. Consider the internet as a giant pie, anyone can grab a slice if their hungry enough.

The small business owner gets his website up and running, or his press release written without having to create a new position in his company to get the job done.
The Freelancer gets to do what he or she loves to do from home. The big question is how do the business owner and freelancer find each other? They do it through one of the freelance sites below.

The best thing about Data Entry Jobs is that your basically getting paid to type, it’s as simple as that. If you’re talented with a keyboard and can type 40 words a minute or more you may want to consider this as a part time job. You don’t need to spend that much time doing it either, you can spend as little as 20 minutes a day in your spare time. The more surveys you complete the more money you make. Many people believe these surveys are scams, I did to before I tried it. My first survey pocketed me a cool $5 and I was hooked after that. Don’t be fooled though, there are some sites out that are set up
to look legit, but in fact they aren’t. Make sure to do your research and read reviews on each survey site you come across.
